Note: This version includes the BVS Observer program and will require the CD from BTECH for the activation key to activate the Observer portion of the program. This installation also includes the latest USB driver for the S5 and PIT-12.

BVM SQL Setup - Installation Instructions

This setup is necessary if you will be using SQL Server as the database for the BVM software. It will create the database for BVM to use on SQL Server.

BVM System Requirements

Hardware

PC with 800 Mhz or higher processor clock speed recommended for Windows XP and Windows 2003. Machines with 64-bit versions of Windows will need a 64-bit capable processor. Refer to the Microsoft website for recommended hardware for the Windows Vista and Windows 7 editions.
256 MB of RAM required (512 MB recommended) for Windows XP and Windows 2003. 1 GB of RAM required (2 GB recommended) for Windows Vista, Windows 2008 Server, and Windows 7. Windows 2000 is no longer supported.
100 megabytes minimum hard drive space for application and small data files. More hard drive space is required for expanded data storage and additional locations.
1024 x 768 display or better.
Dial modem for operation with multiple BVS units using a dial modem.
An available serial port for each short-haul modem.
A network adapter attached to a TCP/IP network is necessary to use the network communications functions of the software.
