BTECH announces
the S5 Portable Impedance Tester
- New S5 Portable joins the BTECH Lineup
BTECH, global
leader in backup battery monitoring systems, today announced the
S5 Portable Impedance Tester, a robust portable unit designed for
people who need to test power batteries in the field.
The S5 Portable
Impedance Tester (PIT) addresses the need for speed and accuracy
in eliminating the vulnerability to unplanned outages due to weak
or faulty power batteries.
The S5 PIT can
measure and store data for up to 15 battery sites. Stored battery
data can be later transferred to a computer via USB or serial port.
The S5 Portable can operate up to 8 hours with a fully charged battery.
PIT capabilities
include the ability to measure total system voltage, individual
cell voltage and individual cell impedance in a single test. The
PIT has an 8-hour battery life and ample memory for 15 sites.
Data collected
by the PIT can be transferred via USB or serial interface to any
computer running compatible BTECH BVM Software (4.1 or higher).
